KS i900r installed

Very simple setup, cable ties + 6 and 3mm hex keys. Done.

Shuttled Saturday so no actual uphill testing but very smooth to adjust and almost unnoticed riding. Only slight set-up issue is the extra cable when seat is bottomed out, the extra loop was noticeable when riding down, potential could catch shorts so may look to adjust that. Also can now get rid of the quick release seat clamp.

Cheers Burkescycles.co.nz for getting the KS i900r for me

  1. Just a wee update on the seat post. No issues running like a dream (and yes very worth it).

Popped in to Pennys to get a spoke wrench and got chatting to one of the guys there. He mentioned to ensure:

    a) you don't over tighted the seat post (in has internals that can get damaged it you go nuts on the collar), and

    b) unscrew the dust cap and put a drop of ligth oil in every now and again
